How do I refine my Discover search results?

To refine your search results in Discover, you can use the limiting options found on the left-hand side of your results screen in the Filters pane.

You are able to filter by a number of criteria, for example:

  • Format
  • Content Type
  • Publication Year
  • Subject
  • Database

This will allow you to refine your results to make them more relevant to your needs. For example, you may only want to read information published in a specific time period, or you may only want to look at eBooks or downloadable videos or Academic Journal Articles that have been Peer Reviewed.

Once you have chosen to limit your results by certain criteria, you can remove these limiters by clicking on Clear Filters at the top of the Filters pane.
