Logging your Apple device into eduroam allows you to access our fast, encrypted wireless network for students. Follow these instructions to connect.
How Do I connect my iPhone or iPad?
- Select Settings and then Wi-Fi.
- Find eduroam in the list of available networks.
- Your username is in the following format: e.g. c1234567@leedsbeckett.ac.uk
- The password is the one you use to get into MyBeckett or onto a university PC.
How do I connect my MacBook?
- Click the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar.
- Find eduroam in the list of available networks.
- Your username is in the following format: e.g. c1234567@leedsbeckett.ac.uk
- The password is the one you use to get into MyBeckett or onto a university PC.
Once your device has connected to eduroam you should only need to reconnect every 9 months when your university password expires.
What if I can not connect to Eduroam?

- Make sure you are able to log in to MyBeckett. If you are having trouble with this also, it may be that you require a password reset and you can contact us.
