Microsoft Outlook sorts your emails into 'focused' and 'other' tabs to highlight messages from people you interact with regularly in your ‘focused’ tab, however, this means that you need to check both the ‘focused’ tab and the ‘other’ tab to view all new emails. To stop Outlook from sorting your emails in this manner please follow the instructions below. There are instructions to change these settings in your browser and on your iOS or Android device.

Changing the settings in your browser.

1. To change these settings in your browser, first login to MyBeckett and locate your emails under the IT tab. Click "Email" to login to your inbox.

Once you are logged in, click on the cog symbol in the top right hand corner.

2. A 'settings' search box will appear. Begin to write 'focused inbox' in the search box. An option to change the focused inbox settings will appear. Click on that.

3. Click on "Don't sort messages" and then "Save". Your Focused Inbox is now turned off.

Changing the settings on your Android Device.

1. Open the Outlook app, click the "Settings" cog in the top right hand corner.

2. Scroll down until you find the option called "Focused Inbox"

3. Click the blue button. It should slide left and turn grey. Your Focused Inbox is now turned off.

Changing the settings on your iPhone Device.

1. Open the Outlook app, click the "Settings" cog in the bottom left corner.

2. Scroll down until you find the option called "Focused Inbox"

3. Click the blue button. It should slide left and turn white. Your Focused Inbox is now turned off.
