When you search for journal articles in Discover, it retrieves articles from journals we subscribe to online. If the journal article has been written by a Leeds Beckett academic, we may also have a version of it saved in our Repository and Discover will retrieve this too.
However, due to copyright restrictions, the version in our Repository may be under embargo and not immediately available to read. Therefore students should access the article via the publisher website in the first stance.
Here is an example -
The DOI is the link to the article through the journal/ publisher's website - this is the link to click on
The Access URL is the article in the Repository, this should be used if there is no DOI link or it isn't working
