The Library has some law resources (the Legal Practice Collection) held in the Law School in Portland 314.
There are two groups of people who may use this collection:
- Postgraduate law students - you need your Campus Card to gain access
- Members of the Leeds Law Society - you can obtain access by speaking in person to the Law School administrators opposite the room. Please explain that you are a member of the Leeds Law Society and that there is an agreement in place between Leeds Law Society and Leeds Beckett Law School which entitles you to access the collection.
This Collection is not open 24/7 365. The exact opening times are at the discretion of the Law School staff.
The resources held in the Legal Practice Collection can be found on the Library Catalogue by setting the location to "Leeds Law School"
There is some overlap between the law resources held at the Law School and those held at Sheila Silver Library. In general the resources at the Law School are geared more at practicing and researching law and those at Sheila Silver Library at studying law (e.g. more text books).
