What version of my work can I make available through the Repository?

Most publishers will permit authors to self-archive their accepted manuscript (author accepted manuscript or AAM) of a journal article. This is the version you should upload to Symplectic and once checked by the Research Services Team, it will appear in the Repository.

You should ideally do this as soon as it is accepted for publication, but definitely within three months, so that it is eligible for submission to the next REF. The final published version (the final version that appears on the Publisher's website) cannot be uploaded to for this purpose.
