The majority of authors’ papers will continue to be made OA via our existing transformative agreements with publishers and through the payment of Gold OA APCs for eligible papers. Rights Retention means that any other papers that can’t be made OA via either of the aforementioned avenues can be made OA immediately via the Green route.
