How will my Discover search results be displayed?

Your list of Discover results will numbered and can include books, eBooks, ejournals, journal articles, reports or newspaper articles.

Each result will generally include the title, author and a summary of item. It will normally list the resource type availability and a link to access the resource.

You can identify what type of resources are in your results list by the icons and wording displayed in the different records. For example Print Book, eBook, Article or eVideo.

If a green tick and Available is displayed the item in available via the Library. ""

Click on the Access / View icon to access an online resource. The icon will have wording such as Access Online, View eBook or View now.

If the resource is not available online e.g. a print book from the Library you should click on the title of the resource and further information about its availability and location will be displayed.

By default your search results are sorted by 'Best match' but consider changing this to 'Library' if you are searching just for print books, or any other option as applicable.
