How do I get a submission receipt for my Blackboard assignment?

When you submit a Blackboard assignment you will receive a receipt to confirm your submission has uploaded successfully in these ways:

  1. A confirmation message will appear at the top of the assignment. It is a purple banner containing a submission confirmation number.

  2. An automated email, confirming that your submission was received. The email is sent to your student email, with subject title 'Submission Received' and contains a brief summary of the assignment details and a date and time of submission. Your email receipt should arrive within 5 minutes. If you haven't received it within three hours, please contact us.

In MyBeckett Ultra

When you submit, a pop up a message appears stating that your submission was successful! Showing the following details:

  • Module name
  • Assessment type (Blackboard Assignment) 
  • Submission date 
  • Submission size
  • Confirmation number
  • message 'You'll receive an email confirmation shortly'
  • Additional Option: to download button which will be a submission receipt in a .txt file
