How do I print single-sided?

All university PCs default to printing double-sided.  This is to encourage sustainability and saves you money. 

You can change your document settings to print single-sided, by following the relevant instructions below. 

Microsoft Office 

These instructions apply to all Microsoft Office applications. 

  1. Select File, then Print. 

  1. Select BeckettPrint as your printer, then Printer Properties. 

  1. Select Finishing. 

  1. De-select Print on both sides, and select OK. 

  1. Select Print, and sign in or use your card at your nearest printer. 

PDF Document – Microsoft Edge 

All university PCs open a PDF in Microsoft Edge by default. 

  1. Select the Print icon in the toolbar.  

  1. Select BeckettPrint as your printer. 

  1. Select Print on one side  

  1. Select Print, and sign in or use your card at your nearest printer.

  1. Select the Print icon

  1. Select BeckettPrint as your printer (you may have to select See more). 

  1. Select More settings. 

  1. De-select Print on both sides
