How do I print in colour?

All university PCs default to black and white. This is to make sure you don’t accidentally pay for colour printing. You can change your document settings to print in colour if you wish to by following the instructions below. 

Microsoft Office 

These instructions apply to all Microsoft Office applications. 

  1. Select File, then Print

  1. Select BeckettPrint as your printer, then Printer Properties 

  1. Select Color 

  1. De-select Print in Grayscale, and select OK. 

  1. Select Print, and sign in or use your card at your nearest colour printer. 

PDF Document – Microsoft Edge 

All university PCs open a PDF in Microsoft Edge by default. 

  1. Select the Print icon in the toolbar.  

  1. Select BeckettPrint as your printer. 

  1. Select Color from the Color drop-down menu. 

  1. Select Print, and sign in or use your card at your nearest colour printer.

PDF Document – Google Chrome 

  1. Select the Print icon

  1. Select Colour from the Colour drop-down menu.
