How do I copy or move sections of my OneNote document to other OneNote notebooks?

  1. You must be in OneNote Desktop to do this, this will not work in OneNote Online.
  2. Right-click on the section you want to copy, and select “Move or Copy”

  1. A pop-up window will appear asking you which notebook you would like to copy the section to.

  1. Select the notebook you want, and select “Copy”, if you wish to copy the section or “Move” if you wish to move out of one notebook and into another.
