Why?
Kortext reader lets you open and read Epubs and digitised chapters from the Kortext platform.
How?
- Go to www.kortext.com/students
- In the top right hand corner, select click the option to 'Get the App'.
- Select the platform you want to read your eBook on. The App is available to download on PC, tablets and mobile devices.
This will either start a download or take you to a further page to find the download on your device's app store.
- Once you have downloaded the app, you will need to sign in with your registered student email address. If you have not already created an account, there is an option to do this from the sign-in page.
- You will then need to select the option to 'sign in via your institution', selecting Leeds Beckett University. This will redirect you to the single sign on log-in page.
- Once you have logged in with your account, you can then browse the Kortext Library. You can also open and read ePub files from other e-book platforms, selecting Kortext as the platform to open the file on your device.
