What is the Academic Honesty (Integrity) Tutorial?

The Academic Honesty Tutorial (also known as the Academic Integrity Tutorial) helps you to make sure your work follows good academic practice. The aim is to save you time and effort and avoid problems with plagiarism and other issues. It does this by providing:

  • An explanation of what academic honesty (sometimes called academic integrity) is
  • Details of Leeds Beckett University's expectations, regulations and processes relating to academic honesty
  • Guidance on essential skills and resources to help you with your work

The tutorial will be available throughout your time at our University, giving you access to the resources at any time and supporting all your work.

Working through the tutorial will help you to study more effectively.  Your lecturer may also give you specific instructions on how you should use the tutorial.

Each of your teaching modules has a link to the Academic Honesty Tutorial on the main menu. You can enrol on the module by clicking "Academic Integrity Tutorial".  For full details see our FAQ: How do I use the Academic Honesty (Integrity) Tutorial?.
