When are student IT systems and services unavailable?

We work to keep our IT systems and services for students available all of the time, so that you can make use of them when you need to.

However, IT changes all the time and occasionally we need to take systems or services down to upgrade and/or maintain them.

To give everyone the opportunity to plan their work around when systems will not be available we have picked one day a month where systems may not be available. The image below lists the potential weekends for 2019 - 2020 where we may need to carry out IT maintenance.

Please do check our Service Alerts page as we will update this with details of which systems and services are affected. Details of emergency or unplanned downtime will also be published there.
