What it does
The "Search" box helps you to find features and tools in Microsoft Office. For example, when you want to change the line spacing in the Word document but can’t remember where to click on the toolbar, you could type “line spacing” into the “Search” box to be taken straight to the line spacing tool, or to look up help on how to use it.
How to use it
“Search” works in all versions of Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), including desktop, online, iOS, Android and Windows Mobile.
