'Maximum sessions reached, please try again later' - error message

**13/10/21 there is an intermittent issue with signing into Discover, so before searching we recommend logging into MyBeckett > Library tab > Your library account > Click the 'Access' button > Select ‘Leeds Beckett University Login’ > You should then be signed in and able to search for all resources - thanks**

 

If you are trying to access library resources eg ebook, journal article and receive an error message stating:

'Maximum sessions reached, please try again later'

This is a temporary error in authenticating your account - it doesn't immediately mean we have no access to the resource.

To resolve:

  • Either close your internet browser window and relaunch, if persists clear your cookies & cache (we recommend google chrome for MyBeckett).
  • Or, (especially if you are searching for a few resources) please take the time to log into MyBeckett > Library tab > Your library account > Click the 'Access' button > Select ‘Leeds Beckett University Login’ > You should then be signed in and able to search for resources, using the standard white box search or the Advanced search.
