You can add notes when you are reading an eBook. This can be useful to refer back to specific pages or references.
Two platforms that have this function are VLebooks and ProQuest Ebook Central. Other platforms may also have this function, but it can vary depending on the supplier.
On VLeBooks:
To make a note highlight the text, or double click on the page at the point where you would like to add a note, and then click on the Add Note button to enter your note.
You can see all notes for a title by clicking on the Annotations icon on the left hand side. This annotations area allows you to return to individual notes, or delete ones you no longer need.
On Proquest Ebook Central:
To make a note highlight the text, or double click on the page at the point where you would like to add a note, and then click on the Add Note button to enter your note. You may be prompted to sign in before you can add the note.
Or you can use the Add Note button from the top toolbar to create notes.
Again you can see all notes for a title by clicking on the Annotations icon on the left hand side. On Ebook Central this is a star. This annotations area allows you to return to individual notes, or delete ones you no longer need.
