How do I collect, renew and return a book received from another Library?

If we have sourced a print book from another Library as an Interlibrary loan, please see the information below:

  • A notification will be sent to your University email when your Interlibrary Loan is available
  • Please collect your Interlibrary Loan as soon as possible from the Welcome desk at your chosen campus Library, during staffed hours. Please check the opening hours on the Library website for up-to-date information on when Library staff are available on campus.
  • Please note that all books are subject to recall by their home library at any time.
  • You may be able to renew your Interlibrary Loan. If you would like to renew your item, please email illcentral@leedsbeckett.ac.uk quoting your user ID and the title of the book.
  • You can return your Interlibrary Loan at the Welcome desk at either campus Library during staffed hours.
  • Interlibrary Loans cannot be posted back to the Library.
  • Interlibrary Loan items do not belong to Leeds Beckett University, and as such borrowers are liable for the full replacement costs and/or admin charges if an Interlibrary Loan is not returned or is lost.
