How do I access an Oxford Learning Link eBook?

Some law eBooks from Oxford University Press are accessed via the Oxford Learning Link (OLL) platform. See the latest list of titles.

If you have never used OLL before you will need to set up an account.

How to set up an OLL account

  1. Go to https://learninglink.oup.com/ollSignin
  2. Click on Register or Log In at the top of the screen and underneath the login box click on Create Account
  3. Use your student email address to register. Where it asks you for a Registration Code you can leave this blank

How to add eBooks to your OLL account

All books on OLL are locked until you enter a unique code for each title. You won't have access to any eBooks automatically on your account but you can add individual titles when you find them on Discover:

  1. If it is an OLL eBook, when you click on the 'View eBook' button on the Discover record you will see a URL to the book and a unique access code. Copy this code by highlighting it and pressing Ctrl + C, or right-clicking and selecting Copy.
  2. Click on the eBook link and this will take you to OLL. Make sure you are signed in, and you will then see the book's record. Look for the purchase / redeem button, or a link that says please purchase access and click on one of these:
  3. To activate access to the eBook, click underneath Redeem an access code (NEVER click on 'Purchase access'):

  4. Paste the access code you have copied from the Leeds Beckett page (Ctrl + V or right-click, Paste), and then click on Redeem. You will now have access to this resource for a year and you will receive an email to your student account to confirm this.
  5. You can now return back to OLL and you will see the book in your account: go to My Account on the top of the screen and then you will see Available Resources with the books you have activated listed. Clicking on the title of the book will take you to its full content.
