Which search indexes are best to use in Advanced Search?

There are many choices in the Advanced Search search index:

We recommend using any combination of:

  • Keyword (the default search term for standard Discover searching)
  • Title
  • Author

in conjunction with the AND, OR, NOT options. We have set these options to appear at the top of the index list.

We also recommend using quotation marks for phrase searching.
