No a Discover search will only search for the given spelling.  If you a searching for a word that commonly includes a variant spelling e.g. British English versus American:

'organisational' & 'organizational'

We recommend you undertake two searches, one for each different spelling.  Apologies this isn't ideal, we have requested this as an enhancement from our suppliers.

There is the option to use wildcard symbols in your search, but they do not always work correctly.
