Why does my Adobe Creative Cloud ask me to start a free trial?

Currently, only Arts students on specific courses are given student licences - if you aren't sure, please check with your school.

If you have been told you have an Adobe licence and see a message about a free trial, you may have signed in via your student Microsoft account, which doesn't have the Adobe licence. To make sure you have signed in correctly, please follow the below instructions:

  1. Go to the Account button at the top-right of the screen, and select Manage account.

  1. Click Manage social sign in on the next screen.

  1. Check that you are disconnected from all of these log-ins, so they all read as Connect on the right-hand side. Make sure you disconnect from Microsoft as well if you are connected.

  1. Next, make sure you completely sign out of Adobe Creative Cloud.
  2. Go to the Adobe homepage and click on Sign in at the top-right hand of the screen.
  3. Enter your student email address and Continue.
  4. Click on Company or School Account. You may need to sign into MyBeckett after clicking this.

  1. You should now be able to access your Adobe Creative Cloud apps.

If you are still having problems accessing your Adobe apps, please contact the Library & Student IT Advice Team.
