To download full-text eBooks from VLeBooks, you will need to install the the VLeBooks app. The app is compatible across all operating systems and has a range of accessibility features. 

1.  Select the 'download' option on your required eBook. If presented with an option for PDF or EPUB, we recommend selecting the EPUB option for more advanced accessibility features.
2. Select your required loan period.
3. Once the eBook file has downloaded, select the relevant download option to install the VLeBooks app on your device.
4. Once downloaded, select the 'Generate New Access Code' option.
5. Copy this code and paste it when prompted to sign into the app using the 'Continue with Access Code' option.
6. You will then be able to view the book in the app, under 'My Loans'.
7. Select the 'Download' option specifically for offline reading. You will have access to this download for the duration of the selected loan period.

Please note: 

• You will only need to enter an access code the first time you use the app on your device. 
• Adobe Digital Editions can still be used for downloads until the end of December 2026, but we recommend that all users who wish to download eBooks do so via the VLeBooks app. 
• If you choose to use Adobe Digital Editions after 23 June 2026, both existing users and new users must create a new ByteBooks ID and account to access existing or new content.
