How can I scan a document so that I can have it read back to me by the computer?

TextHelp Read & Write can be used to scan printed documents and convert them into Microsoft Word or PDF documents. For help scanning a document into an electronic format, please see Scanning and Copying. Once scanned, you can use TextHelp Read & Write software to have the document read back to you.  See the Library website Software page for more information, including tutorials.  

You can also have scanned documents converted to various formats including Microsoft Word, PDF and audio using SensusAccess.
