Journals (also known as periodicals or serials) are magazines that cover a particular subject or profession. Each journal issue contains a number of articles, written by different authors, all of which will relate to the subject covered by the journal.

Look out for peer-reviewed journals which contain academic/scholarly articles - these are written and edited by experts in their field.
