Yes. However the same rights and restrictions generally apply to copying, pasting and printing from an eBook as apply to print books. "Fair dealing" allows a single copy or a fair amount to be copied for specific purposes, such as for research or private study.

Most eBooks set a restriction on the amount which can be copied. Some allow you to print a specific page range, others allow printing one page at a time.
