What it does

The Speak tool will read single words or small blocks of text aloud to you. It is useful if you want to hear information read aloud. If you want to read larger amounts of text you may find Read Aloud or Immersive Reader more useful. 

How to use it

Speak works in the desktop versions of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and OneNote. It is not currently available in the online Office programs.
