If you are sitting an Inspera exam on campus, you will be using the Safe Exam Browser (SEB). This is installed on student PCs. Your course team will let you know which room is booked for your exam.

If you are sitting your Inspera exam off campus, you will need to install the Inspera Exam Portal (IEP).

Before you start

Have you:

• got the exam pin provided by your course team? (You will be provided with this on the day of your exam).

To use the Safe Exam Browser (SEB)

1. Log in to MyBeckett.
2. Click Modules.
3. Open the relevant module.
4. Locate your exam link (please ask your course team if you are not sure where this is located).
5. Click the exam link.
6. If prompted, click Open Safe Exam Browser.
7. In the Settings Password Required box, enter the exam pin that your course team provided. Click Confirm.
8. Click Start Test.
9. During the exam: 

• a timer at the top left of the screen will indicate how much time you have remaining
• a menu at the top right provides options such as changing the contrast and increasing the text size
