Can I submit more than one file for my Blackboard assignment?
This FAQ is about submitting Blackboard assignments only. (Note: Turnitin assignments do not allow multiple file submissions).
You can submit multiple files to a Blackboard assignment by uploading them individually or all at once by following one of these methods:
- from your computer or
- from your OneDrive (Cloud Storage) or
- putting your files into a ZIP folder.
Method 1: From your computer individually
- When you have decided what you will do, go into your assignment and click Upload Files then choose Browse Local Files.
- To upload individually:
- Locate and click on your first file, then click Open.
- You will then see that MyBeckett adds your file to the Attached Files List just below where you clicked on Browse Local Files.
- Repeat this process for each file you want to submit, then click Submit at the bottom of the page to make the submission.
Method 2: Cloud Storage - recommended for large files
Note: all students have 1TB OneDrive storage with your Microsoft 365 account. Ensure your files are uploaded in your student OneDrive app before you begin.
- When you are ready in the assignment submission inbox click Upload Files and then choose Browse Cloud Service.
- Then click on OneDrive, you may be required to sign in with your student email credentials.
- Choose multiple files at once or add them individually (Note: you cannot upload a folder, only a Zip File see method 3. below).
- When you have finished your adding multiple files, click Submit at the bottom of the page to complete your submission.
Method 3: Upload from Computer Folder as a Zip File
From your device.
- To upload a ZIP file: Locate and click on the ZIP file, then click Open.
- You will then see that MyBeckett adds the ZIP file to the Attached Files list just below where you clicked on Browse Local Files.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the page to make the submission.
*NOTE: If you are submitting through Turnitin, you will not be able to submit multiple files or zip folders
