How can I convert files into different formats?

SensusAccess

​You can do this using SensusAccess, a web-based tool which allows Leeds Beckett students and staff to automatically convert files into a range of different formats, including Microsoft Word, PDF, audio books (MP3 and DAISY), eBooks (EPUB, EPUB3 and Mobi for Kindle) and digital Braille.

The service is useful for converting inaccessible documents such as image-only PDF files, JPG images and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations into more accessible formats.

Ally File Transformer

You can use Ally File Transformer to convert files into a range of formats including PDF, ePub (for reading as an ebook on iPad or other ebook readers),  electronic Braille,.audio (MP3) and BeeLine Reader.  To find out more fo to the How do I use the Ally File Transformer to convert files to alternative formats? page.

Anthology Ally

For files which are within your module content on MyBeckett you may be able to use Anthology Ally. Anthology Ally is a tool within MyBeckett which can convert files into alternative file formats. To find out more go to the What are 'Alternative Formats' in MyBeckett? page.
