Having trouble submitting your assignment? Here are a few things to check:

• How big is the file you are submitting?

Try to keep your file size as small as you can as a small file equals a small upload time! Bigger files will take longer to upload so if you are uploading a large assignment please be patient.  Check out this FAQ to help with large file submissions

• Have you already made a submission?

If you have already submitted in error, you may be allowed to make another submission if your tutor has granted you the permissions to do so. If they haven't, you will have to get in touch with them to see if they are willing to clear your previous submission and allow you to resubmit.

• Can you see your Assignment inbox?

If you can't see a place to submit your assignment, get in touch with your tutor as they will have set it up for you. Assignment inboxes will have an icon next to them that looks like this:

​Blackboard assignment, click the title to go to the upload area which allows more than one file to be uploaded.

Turnitin Assignment: click on View Assignment, and only submit one file/document to this type of assessment.
